I received my fingerprint cards and national agency check forms in the mail on Monday (10/3) and they were in the mail on their way to Atlanta on Tuesday (10/4)! I learned that if you need to be professionally fingerprinted (ie. for the FBI, like the PC needs), you can go to the UF police department and they'll do it for free...the lady was a total grumpus, though...kind of like going to the DMV, but at least it's free and you can go whenever because they're available 24/7. The Gainesville police only do them on Wednesdays or something for a few hours, and it costs money (boo). Amy (my recruiter) got back yesterday and she told me that she received my application file and that I should be getting a formal email (about my application, and perhaps interview?) from her today (Friday 10/7)!
