I picked up my second packet (UPS misdelivered the first one) yesterday from the UPS center in town, and boy am I glad I did! On the envelope there were THREE different variations of my address, and only one was correct (the one that PC put on there) - that would've guaranteed that UPS would have delivered it wrong again.
Anyways, my PO didn't accidentally mess up and sent me the wrong information - I really am going to Benin at the June! I'm still ecstatic, and I'm more and more pumped the more I read about the country. I mailed in my acceptance last night and heard back from Peace Corps today...It's official! Now I just have to worry about an updated resume, aspiration statements, visa and passport paperwork, a yellow fever shot, etc etc! I will be busy this weekend.
[Pictures of that glorious blue packet and the 10,000 pages of paper work to be included later]
Congratulations! It's a great feeling once you finally get to this point. Good luck with everything
