Sorry Douglas Adams

…in the event of galactic hitchhiking, a pagne (pahn-ya) would be way
more practical than a towel. Here are some of the uses I have found
for them:

- Latrine/douche door
- Dress
- Skirt
- (Somewhat ineffective) baby diaper
- Blanket
- A covering to keep flies off your marché goods
- Baby carrier
- Head covering so you can use the fancy mosque's latrine
- Towel
- 3rd world dog toy

I am sure there are many more that I have yet to discover
(bullfighting? making giant versions of those napkin animals? meter
stick?), but what have I learned? It's always a good idea to travel
with 2m of wildly patterned fabric.
